Gift La Crosse Began August 9, 2024
With many thanks to the La Crosse City Council, Gift La Crosse began with their August 8, 2024. We are recipients of remaining American Recovery Act (ARPA) funding.
The Northside of La Crosse did not qualify for funding prior to this date, meaning our businesses did not receive funding provided to other business organizations.
August 9 changed that.
Our Vision
The North La Crosse Business Association heard three things from businesses, many of which felt the loss of business from lifestyle changes and the shift to buying online. What we heard was:
- Help us financially.
- Bring people in our door.
- Send a “support local message”
Our gift cards will only be accepted at locally-owned business.
During Phase 2, our app will support local businesses and local events.
